Description

Boswellia carterii Frankincense is a resin that exudes from the trunks of the trees of Boswellia carterii which grow naturally and wildly in Somalia and Ethiopia. The Frankincense is a superior resin and Nagaad Resins and Gums select produce only of the highest quality.

Boswellia carterii Frankincense produces a feeling of calm when inhaled. It slows down breathing and clears airways. It has antiseptic, astringent, cicatrizing, diuretic, digestive, uterine and sedative properties. It is helpful for asthma sufferers as it eases shortness of breath.

We produce Boswellia carterii Frankincense in three grades depending on the size of the blocks or tears that come from the tree. The Frankincense is excellent for burning as incense and use in health remedies. In the past many of the Boswellia carterii trees have been over-logged thereby forcing harvesters to travel further into the desert for quality resins.
